About The Event
The spectacle known as the Seattle Fleet Week returns to Seafair once again. The celebration starts with the Parade of Ships through Elliott Bay followed by a week of events where the public is invited to meet the sailors and guardsmen, enjoy free music, and take ship tours. Seafair has hosted Fleet Week on the Seattle Waterfront since 1950 in celebration of the men and women who serve our country.
This year Seafair, along with Boeing, the Seattle Navy League, and the Port of Seattle, is proud to welcome the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard.

2026 Event Schedule
Parade of Ships
Seattle Waterfront
Join us at Pier 62 on July 21 as ships from the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and the Seattle Fire Department fire boat parade around Elliott Bay followed by docking and demonstrations at Pier 66. View the water-based parade from the Seattle waterfront and listen to the narration by tuning into 88.9 Logboom Radio (Mercer Island Highschool).
The Parade of Ships will be preceded by a Coast Guard Search and Rescue demonstration.
Pier 66 Free Ship Tours
Tour ships from the U.S Navy (USS Cincinatti) and U.S. Coast Guard (USCGC Stratton) on July 22-23 from 10AM to 7PM. Watch the ships depart on July 24.
Fleet Week Night at the Mariners
Cheer on the Mariners with sailors from the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy as they take on the Cincinnati Reds.
Navy Band Northwest Performance
Main stage at Seafair Weekend Festival. Remember that general admission is FREE on Friday courtesy of Windermere.
2026 Ship Tours
Your government-issued REAL ID is required to partcipate in Ship Tours
Experience the power and majesty of naval vessels up close. Tour the impressive ships, meet the dedicated sailors, and gain insight into their vital missions.
In addition, tour the Coast Guard Museum Northwest during fleet week for an up-close look at our military’s nautical past.
Explore maritime exhibits, enjoy interactive displays, and learn about the rich maritime heritage of our region.
The following items are prohibited on board U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard ship tours:
🚫 Weapons: including knives, firearms and club weapons
🚫 Defensive chemicals or sprays, including mace, and pepper spray, or spray cans of any type
🚫 Fireworks, flammable liquids or other explosives
🚫 Drugs and drug-related paraphernalia illegal by federal standards, including cannabis
🚫 Large bags, including backpacks, and large camera bags are not authorized onboard ships. Small camera bags and small handbags may be permitted, but subject to search
🚫 Strollers or walkers (there are no secure holding areas for any personal items)
🚫 While general photography of this event is allowed, the use of drones in the area of Navy vessels is strictly prohibited.
🚫 Videography while walking throughout the tour is also prohibited. There are also certain photography restrictions on Navy ships, which will be communicated during ship tours
🚫 No open-toed shoes allowed on U.S. Navy ships as a matter of guest safety
🚫 Glasses that are capable of taking pictures or video such as Meta Glasses are also prohibited
🚫 For safety reasons, no pets, including service animals, due to presence of military working dogs
Special consideration will be given to items that accompany small children, handicapped, and/or elderly visitors. Visitors are encouraged to bring as few items as possible when arriving for their tour and are recommended to wear flat-heeled, closed-toe shoes. Due to safety concerns no open-toe shoes will be permitted.
Tips for ship tours
- Bring your Government Issued REAL ID
- Visitors will pass through a airport style security screening checkpoint and my be subject to search
- Visitors must be physically able to maneuver on board, including climbing narrow ladders
- Bags, Strollers, and Wheelchairs are not allowed and there is no holding area for personal items
- Visitors must wear closed toe shoes
- Do not bring any items from the prohibited list
